Salmon

Poached salmon is one of the easiest seafood dishes to cook. It requires no oil and makes a light lunch. It can be paired with lemon rice, steamed vegetables and salad. It also makes a great dinner with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

To poach salmon you need salt, dill, onion and of course, salmon fillets. Combine the water and wine and heat for about 20 minutes. Then add the salmon and cook for about 20 more minutes.

Salmon can also be broiled or baked. It is best to marinade the fish before cooking. Broiling takes less than 10 minutes and baking less than 20 minutes. Be sure to check the fish often- the meat should be flaky when done-so that you do not overcook your meal.
